Endoscopy

Thanks to the different rigid and flexible scopes that we have we can offer most modalities of endoscopy. We have available rigid scopes for videotoscopy, rhinoscopy, arthroscopy and laparoscopy, and sometimes we use these scopes for other things such as finding grass seeds inside feet. We also have flexible scopes, from the larger gastroscope designed for gastroscopy and colonoscopy, to the smallest retroflex endoscope (which still has an instrument channel), that is very useful to go into the lungs or to examine the space above the soft palate, we also have a larger bronchoscope that is able to fit large instruments through its channel.

Here is a list of the most common procedures so that you can have an idea of costs:

Videotoscopy under sedationfrom £230
Rhinoscopy (including anaesthesia)from £870
Gastroscopy (including general anaesthesia)from £870
Bronchoscopy (including general anaesthesia)from £870
Endoscopic foreign body retrieval (in addition to endoscopy)£350 (multiple foreign bodies may carry further charges)
Endoscopic biopsy£150 plus laboratory costs for the biopsy
